We would like to thanks Colin and Julian for the excellent work in renovating our house. There are few things we quite impress while working with Colin and Julian. 1. Colin spent nearly 4 hours explaining and exchange idea of the proposal to make sure he captured correctly our requirement and idea. 2. They emphasis on workmanship and quality. 3. Very thoughtful and always give advice to enhance our idea, I remember when designing the switch panel for my light switch, they even discuss with the carpenter to cater for the extra space needed to install the switch relay. 4. During installation work, Julian will be there to monitor and coordinate to make sure everything is done correctly. If there is any doubt, she will call me for verification to make sure the user experience, and installation is done correctly. 5. Colin and Julian will not feel hesitate to point out our ideas which not make sense, and suggest alternative to enhance it. I remember an incident when we want to alter the false ceiling to accommodate installation of Steigen and we overlook the piping maintenance issue, Julian stop us and explain the detail and consequence if we proceed with the alteration. 6. The electrician that handle our house is from B2B, I’m so gland to work with Thomas, he always have the can do attitude, I remember near the end of the project, I request Colin help to alter my lighting points, Julian help to arrange with Thomas within 2 working days, I though Thomas will cut few holes into the false ceiling and cabinet to run the cable, but due to Thomas well plan from the beginning, he just help me to separate out cables and the job done without needs to drill hole into my cabinet. 7. Julian try her best to help us check with HDB and even go step further to reach HDB architect team to verify and get approval to hack down a wall and relocate the DB box. Her determination paid off, our place look spacious after knocking down the wall. My unit was handover a week ahead from the planned schedule. Thanks to Colin and Julian for the hard work. we have engaged with several IDs before choosing Ciseern because of their designer Eevon. She is very patient and understand our needs with her best professional advise. During the whole renovation process, she makes sure the progress is on track and is very meticulous on every details. My wife and I engaged Ciseern for the 1st time when we decided to renovate the house to make more room for our 4 kids. We selected Ciseern out of about 5 IDs there were recommended to us. We decided to go with Ciseern after meeting up with Frank Chan who met us at our house for the 1st meeting. He is highly professional and knows exactly what he is doing. He was able to give us many pointers and suggestions even on the 1st visit. At the same time, he is extremely patient when he engages us in our discussion regarding the various stages of the actual renovation process. We actually had a big change in our renovation concept - switching from minimalist Scandinavian to Industrial; Frank was totally unfazed and helped us come up with the look that we wanted. During the actual renovation process, he was always contactable and updates us regularly on the progress of our renovation as well. There was a few hiccups along the way, but Frank was always able to come up with creative ways to solve the issues. Post renovation, he still ensures all the minor defects are all corrected. I will highly recommend Ciseern and Frank to anyone who wishes to have their place renovated.

Our experience with Ciseern through our ID, Cindy Teong, has been fantastic throughout. We envisioned our home to have a warm, relaxing yet simple and practical theme. Sounds easy, but not in reality considering we also have other requirements (children safety, use of materials, privacy space, furniture requirements). From the first meeting, we can tell that Cindy is passionate in her work. From planning and design to final delivery, she is able to understand and convert our thoughts into reality. She is patient in answering all of queries throughout the processes, and transparent in the communication about the work being done. Her ideas and suggestions have been very useful and thoughtful, enabling the final outcome to be even better than we first saw. Similarly, her positive relationships with her work contacts put us at ease in the renovation process. Despite difficulties, she has been able to propose and implement solutions which we think were great. One great example is how she sourced for safer home features and going above and beyond to create a seamless renovation experience. Met Lyee Ann and Zinc at Courts (Tampines) while looking around for furniture with my wife for our new place. They approached us and asked us if we are looking for IDs to renovate our home. They shared with us briefly what Ciseern was about and we arranged for another meet-up appointment after that. We went to their showroom during the next appointment and decided to sign a package with them as my wife and I were quite tired of looking around for different IDs and Ciseern had some lucky draw and vouchers if we signed with them. We managed to win the top prize and saved a bit on our renovation costs. It also helped that Ciseern is under CASE Trust. So we had the assurance that the job would be done. Zinc helped us through the designing and answered most of the questions we had. Though new at the point in time (apparently, we were her first customers), she did her best to research on potential designs and concepts we were looking for. We managed to see the 3D designs before work began. It was during the covid period in 2021 that we started renovation. The whole process was quite smooth with a few hiccups, but Zinc always updated us on the progress. She would give us calls if we did not understand the text messages or have queries. She also accompanied us to shop for lights, fans, tiles and toilet accessories. She gave us ideas and suggestions on whether certain choices fitted the theme for our home. Though she has connections with other vendors, she did not hard-sell them to us. We could find other shops to find cheaper and better alternatives. Throughout the whole process, Zinc would make herself available to oversee the progress. Even if she couldn't be there, Lyee Ann would help out or she would ask the workers at the site to take photos and send to us. The renovation was completed within ~2 months with some changes requested by us. Even after handing over the house to us, Zinc was still quite responsive for touch-ups and defects rectification. Overall, we were quite satisfied by the services provided by Ciseern. However, I am not sure if the quality of the carpentry is top-notch. We did face some issues with the wardrobe and toilet mirror. The vendor seemed unwilling to come over to rectify the issues when we still have the warranty. As first-time home owners, we are pleased with the design for our home but there are definitely areas for improvement. We would recommend Ciseern if your budget allows. We spent close to $45000 for our 4-room BTO. The only area of improvement I can think of is the choice of wall colors. We had specified that we wanted the living room to look as bright and spacious as possible. However, the color did not turn out the way we had envisioned it to be. In the end, we had to spend another $500 to re-paint the living room walls. It was after a second time that our ID managed to get the color that we wanted. However, we felt that the money could have been saved if she had more experience with the different colors and the effects they give.

We did our HDB renovation with an Interior Designer, Lyee Ann from Ciseern. She is very easy to work with and she made our renovation work seamless. We used waterproof board for our kitchen cabinet.

This is my 1st experience with Ciseern. I had read a lot of gd reviews on them. This makes me more confident to engage them for my home reno. I was introduced to Frank as my I.D. He was friendly and always open with our ideas and explain the pros and cons abt our design. He was very detailed in his works and was able to blend both his ideas and ours into something beautiful . He was able to manage the project timeliness well. Throughout we did stumble on some problem but Frank did it well by resolving it quickly to meet the timeliness. We had everything done nicely and finally we had our dream home . We had rcv a lot of positive feedback when our family and relatives came over during Hari Raya. She really helped us a lot not only knowing that we had real tight budget but also our intention to move in to the new home before our ROM, and there she did the magic ! We found it quite incredible and so without hesitation , we requested Shermin to get it for our kitchen and bathroom. We are so blessed and grateful to have Zax Zeng as our Interior Designer for our very first home in Singapore. We were quite anxious about many things, but from the very first meeting when he attentively asked about our hobbies, what we love to do at home, whats our family plan in future, his questions were very thorough and he opened our mind with his opinions. This is our second time engaging Jason Tan after a satisfactory experience with our first matrimonial home. He understood our needs and provided creation solutions and designs for the new home. Jason is meticulous and attentive to details, and surprised us when he conceptualised the cinema/industrial themed home. Our challenge to him was to reconfigure the bedroom to fit in a resort themed vanity sink and reinstalling a partition to have 2 bedrooms. Ultimately, he managed to bring his ideas to life. With Jason, we did not have to worry about contractors not doing a good job because he supervises their tasks personally, and we only had to visit once a week. To top it off, Jason goes beyond his call of duty, helping us in menial tasks like installing of washing machine tubing, touching up of paint job, etc. He tries his utmost to respond promptly and with respect, which helped build trust and rapport over the process. We will definitely refer him to our friends and family!

We have spent about 2 months finding a good ID. Zax is the best one among all the six IDs we met. Zax is very experienced and easy to communicate with. He well understood our needs and provided us with excellent proposals. Thanks to his rich experience, the complex renovation things become much easier for us. Also, Zax has very good taste, and the colors he recommended for the cabinet and paintings look very beautiful. The work quality is also very good, and they have 25 years warranty for the waterproof plates under the basin. We are lucky to have Zax as our ID. Even in this pandemic, with the shortage of workers, Zax and his team managed to complete the whole project on time and in good quality. Zax Zeng was my ID for my new HDB flat. I chose him over other IDs as he was the one that stood out amongst the rest. He gave me a quotation and draft plan of the renovation project within 7 days. While other IDs were very laid back. Neither given any quotation within the promised period nor caught up with me soon enough. Knowing that I have to fork out close to 100K in funds for my renovation. So, Responsiveness and Attitude was what I looked for in an ID. I changed my design several times before the renovation works started. From Scandinavian to Mid Century theme. From one wardrobe design to several different designs. From light toned flooring to a darker one. He just picked up the sudden changes with pride and worked on it. I regarded him for more than just an ID. No doubt, any renovation project is bound to have hiccups here and there. Whenever any issue arises, even the slightest ones that can be easily solved if I'm willing to get my hands dirty. He's just a Whatsapp message or call away to get it fixed. He's a great problem solver in my opinion. Reactive to my queries too. One would expect some change in attitude and responsiveness from the ID after the handover of the house. But not from Zax. He still maintained the same level of "reactiveness" as before, continuing to deliver the remaining items which were not completed fully or needed adjustments. In all, the following keywords definitely goes well with Zax. Spontaneous. Reactive. Friendly.

Working with Zinc (ID) from Ciseern was a very good experience for my first home. We trusted Ciseern due to their quality and we were not disappointed, in fact very happy with the end product.
