Joann helped us with the design of our new place and we are grateful for the help she provided along the way. She worked together with us on the design we wanted, was patient with our many requests and enquiries. It was also easy to discuss on the pros and cons of options with her as we had a lot of ideas which transformed along the way. Joann is reliable and always punctual and prepared for our meet ups and responsive to our questions. She also provided updates to the renovation process which she helped oversee. We appreciate having her around to coordinate on the work of the various contractors and providing us updates on the progress, as we were not able to be around all the time at the unit. We are pleased with the final product and workmanship of the build in carpentries and thankful for all the help Joann rendered for our first home!

I have engaged Space Define after visiting about 5 IDs, this was upon seeing their initial design and also the workmanship which Daniel was happy to bring me to view one of his completed project. Daniel was able to get the concept and the theme of the house that I wanted quite immediately. Any rectification required along the way was also addressed. Daniel is an ID that respects what the homeowner would like and listen to their ideas and give suggestion based on his experience. What I like is the carpentry workmanship, very nice finish.

Space Define helped to renovate our first house many years ago. The designers were creative to make use of limited space to build a house that is practical and functional. When we sold the house after five years, everything was still in good condition. Through the years, we have recommended many friends and colleagues to Space Define. None has ever complain about their service. This year when we got a new house, Space Define is a natural choice for us. Daniel is able to give us good advise from his wealth of knowledge, he is able to work with our tight timeline and monitor the entire renovation when we were oversea. It’s a great experience to work with Derrick to renovate our ~15 years old house..lots of wish list came true including an island in our 5-room flat living room! Embedded cables & surround sound system without having to rebuild the ceiling nor hack the floor. After speaking with a few other interior design firms we eventually decided to engage Derrick from Space Define. From the very first meeting till the day our keys were handed back to us, Derrick was conscientious, patient and meticulous in ensuring our home renovation was completed to perfection. The entire process was enjoyable as Derrick took our feedback seriously, then made practical and creative suggestions for our needs. For example, to keep our excessive belongings out of sight, he created a beautiful bay storage in each bedroom just beside the windows, which also functions as a bench for visitors. Moreover, he was able to create a kitchen island/bar for my mom who requested for one, when other IDs said it wasn't possible given the size of our kitchen. We also love the sleek additions of cove lighting and backlighting for the toilet mirror and bedroom headboard. To top it all off, he even went the extra mile to purchase kitchen appliances, tiles and bathroom items with us, and has brilliant after sales service for any minor touch ups that need to be done after the renovation was complete. Thanks Derrick for the brilliant work, we really love our new home and always look forward to returning to it everyday!!!

Aki and Derrick are friendly, professional and patient even though we have changed our designs multiple times especially the walk in closet😅. We do not need to worry about the progression of the work throughout the Reno process as it’s all arranged smoothly. Derrick is also very experienced in technical area and will provide practical advise.

Aki and her team had done a great job in helping us create a beautiful and practical home. During the entire process from design, selecting material and the actual reno work, Aki has been very patient and accommodating to the tight schedule and our last min requests. Special mention to Electrician Lim for his value-adding recommendation on the light points and making sure the electrical works were done perfectly. Very happy to come home to our new place everyday!

We had engaged Derrick for our renovation last year 2018, What we liked the most was that Derrick could give practical and useful advice. He also accompanied us for the selection of floor tiles, lights and plumbing accessories. We find that this is very important to us because this is our first time at doing renovation. He also listened to what we are looking for in the new house and helped to incorporate them into the design. Prior to the actual work, we were shown a software 3D layout. This helped tremendously for us to visualise the end product before engaging him. The renovation journey was smooth and Derrick's friendly character made it better. He supervised our project personally and sent us prompt updates for the progress. We had moved in for more than 6 months and can say that the quality is good. Whenever defects are raised, Derrick does not shun from them. The defects were resolved promptly. The only item that we feel was not perfect was the visualisation of the final design. Although the 3D design was shown to us, but it is difficult to visualize the whole concept when choosing our laminates for the carpentry work. The drawers that had soft closing were slightly difficult to pull out as they require more strength to open. Overall, we are pleased that we had engaged Derrick with our renovation and would highly recommend him to our friends.

When I started with my renovation journey, I actually visited 8 IDs. Many of them did not get back to me, and the others who did, did not understand my needs. Joann was different and stood out in the sense (1) she got back to me with a reasonable quotation after just 2-3 days. (2) she gave ample time for consideration before asking for decision (3) she provided an initial 3D layout during our 2nd meeting (something that no one else did) She's a good listener and took into account all my requirements and gave suggestions where necessary. Work was completed promptly and any defects touched up quickly. She's very responsive and resolved any issues, if any, immediately. She also helped coordinate the curtain works though it was sourced on my own. Overall a very satisfied home owner here :) Definitely can trust her with your house.

She and her team had been very helpful and had tried their best to meet many of my demands, including helping me to install a long mirror I bought (the shop I bought from did not help me to install because the delivery team is different from the installation team, and the customer service is poor!).
