Founded by a pair of industry veterans with over a decade of experience, The Interior Lab has a strong 15-member team of designers who are passionate about good design. Being my first home, I would want the best design and reno yet something that is durable and able to withstand regular use of fixtures around the house. Matty will provide sound advice and never fail to ensure that the timeline is adhered to. Her experience as an ID is crucial as I had several queries pertaining to some of the designs I wanted. While she will guide you through your design, she will also ensure that the house is practical. Fast forward, I am truly impressed by the service rendered by Matty from The Interior Lab as it made my maiden reno experience an interesting journey. All questions and queries were addressed promptly even if am not in town. What I particularly like was the constant updates I have been getting from time to time. Cut things short, I was able to move in ahead of the scheduled reno works. When we first bought over the condo it was almost 20 years old; the interior was very dated. That was the main reason why we opted for a complete revamp of the home. Our dream home is one that has a Muji-Scandi Theme and uses materials that can be easily maintained. After meeting up with around 5 IDs, we decided to engage Eric Yap from The Interior Lab. He came off as artistic on first impression and subsequently impressed us with his technical knowledge and attention to details. He was also one of the few IDs who was willing to visit our site. Our whole renovation process was a fuss-free one, we entrusted Eric with everything due to our busy schedules. Yet, he would still double check with us on certain things to ensure that it would suit our lifestyle needs. We absolutely loved the Muji-Scandi colour tone recommended by Eric, not only it makes the house look bigger, it is also very soothing to us. So much so that, we anticipate coming home everyday. We were glad that Eric took in our suggestions and chose material that were almost scratch-proof and waterproof, making them functional and easy to maintain. The Interior Lab really delivered what they promised. The renovation was well-worth our money especially considering the fact that we had a peace of mind throughout. If you are looking for a responsible interior designer and a fuss-free renovation, I would highly recommend Eric and The Interior Lab.
